Gallery Rare Device, 2006-2010

I opened Rare Device in Brooklyn in 2005 and opened a second store in San Francisco with artist Lisa Congdon in 2007. Rare Device was an art and design-led boutique with a gallery that featured functional experiments and original ideas in art, design, craft and fabrication. We curated artists working in all mediums in our gallery spaces in Brooklyn and San Francisco. We also held a steady stream of drawing nights, book signings, and related events. (Note: Some of the imagery is poor/small, as image resolution in the 2000s is not what it is today.)
